The USMLE assesses an examinee’s ability to apply knowledge, concepts, and principles, and to demonstrate fundamental patient-centered skills. These skills constitute the basis of safe and effective patient care. The USMLE is administered at Prometric test centers. Visit the Prometric website to schedule or reschedule an exam, locate a test center, confirm or cancel your appointment, and find information on test center policies.
